Lowdermilk Machine Shop

We have a large 48' x 64' shop with 2 overhead doors, and lots of area to park a semi truck and trailer.
Our shop is equipped with a wide variety of machines to help serve our customers every need. 

• We have a 20x60 lathe that we can make a variety of different sizes and lengths of shafts. We can build up a worn shaft and then turn it down to its original size making it as good as new.  We can also put threads on spindles, etc. that have been damaged from use.  We offer turning down flywheels for clutch replacement.  We can make bushings and spacers any size you may need.
• We have a milling machine so can do key seats and plane excess metal accurately and efficiently.
• We have a plasma cutter to make it faster and more accurate to cut metal for fabricating and repairs. 
• We have a multiprocessor welder which we can mig weld, stick weld or tig, and we have added a spool gun for welding aluminium. 
• We have a 60 ton press for getting things out that are seized in and also for straightening bent pieces back into their original shape.  
• We have an extensive and full line of hand tools including:
  • wrenches,
  • a large puller set,
  • several specialty wrenches,
  • and a magnetic drill to get into spaces to fix things that cannot be removed.  
• We have a 70 ton iron worker which can be used to punch holes up to 1 1/4” in diameter in a ¾” metal plate, cut a ¾”x12” metal plate or up to 5” of angle iron. This tool also has a notcher for faster and more efficient project fabrication.
